  • Meditation session records (duration, frequency)

2.3 Usage Data & Technical Information

We automatically collect certain information when you access the Service ("Usage Data"):

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system model, screen resolution, and system language.
  • Log Data: Internet Protocol (IP) address, app version, time and date of access, and crash reports.
  • Feature Usage: Anonymized data regarding which features you use and how often (e.g., "User completed a meditation"), to help us prioritize development.

  • Contractual Necessity: To provide the Service to you (e.g., saving your journal entries so you can read them later).

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Sync your data securely across your devices (Web, iOS, Android).

We strictly DO NOT:

  • Access or read your encrypted content (when End-to-End Encryption is enabled).

5. End-to-End Encryption (E2E)

Day Score offers optional End-to-End Encryption. When this feature is enabled in your settings:

  • Your journal entries and private content are encrypted on your device before being sent to our servers.
  • Only you possess the decryption key (password/passphrase).

Important: We (Axiom Holdings Limited) have no ability to access, read, or recover this data. If you lose your encryption password, this data will be permanently lost.

6. Data Storage and International Transfers

Your information is stored and processed on servers provided by Google Firebase. These servers may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions outside of your home country. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

7. Third-Party Services

We utilize trusted third-party service providers to help us operate the Service. These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf:

  • Firebase (Google): Backend infrastructure, authentication, database, and hosting. Privacy Policy

  • Apple Sign In: Authentication service for iOS users.
  • Google Sign In: Authentication service.
  • Sentry / Crashlytics: Error tracking and crash reporting.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

  • Active Accounts: We retain data while your account is active to provide the Service.
  • Deletion: You may delete individual entries within the app or request full account deletion via the in-app settings or by emailing privacy@dayscore.ai.
  • Post-Deletion: Upon a deletion request, your data is removed from our live databases within 30 days, though it may persist in secure backups for a limited period as required by law or disaster recovery protocols.

9. Your Data Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding your data:

  • Right to Access: You can request copies of your personal data.
  • Right to Rectification: You can request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data ("Right to be forgotten").
